AMY DILORENZO
Artistic Director & Dancer
I am interested in how formal elements of dance can convey meaning. My creative process begins with form; where the dancers are in space and how they relate spatially and timewise to each other. By employing form to communicate meaning rather than movement and expression, it reveals itself in abstraction. I am not as concerned by the audience understanding the intended meaning as I am with their interpretation of the structure and movement. The crafted movement is equally as important to me as the form. I create movement that is out of the majority of the population’s reach. I strive to highlight stamina, flexibility, control and intention in a super-human way.
CORINNE HART
Dancer
Corinne Hart began her dance training in Mundelein, Illinois at Dancenter North in styles such as tap, ballet, lyrical, modern, and jazz. She graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in 2017 with a BFA in Dance and Nutritional Studies. Since graduating, Corinne has been studying closely under Pascal Rioult and his company, Rioult Dance New York, and has been dancing professionally for Cherylyn Lavagnino Dance.
LISA KRAINIK
Dancer
Lisa Krainik grew up in New Jersey where she studied dance at North Jersey School of Dance Arts. At 15 she moved to New York City to study at Ellison Ballet, The French Academie of Ballet, and privately with Alexandra Wells and Laura Careless. In 2017, Krainik graduated from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts with honors, majoring in Dance and minoring in the Business of Entertainment, Media, and Technology. She has performed works by Sean Curran, Crystal Pite, Bobbi Jene Smith, George Balanchine and Trisha Brown. Lisa is excited to be a part of the Outlet Dance Project and perform outside with the beautiful pieces of art that make up Grounds for Sculpture.
HALEIGH DALKE
Dancer
Haleigh Dalke is originally from Gilroy, California and is very excited to be performing with Amy DiLorenzo & Co! She graduated magne cum laude from Tisch School of the Arts at New York University in 2017, receiving her BFA in Dance with a minor in Web Applications. In recent years she has performed in Tinted Window’s No Artificial Preservatives, Trisha Brown’s Set and Reset, Reset at Radio City Music Hall, Lincoln Center's White Lights Festival with Crystal Pite's Polaris, Angie Moon Theater's The Lines On The Wall Tell Stories We Don't Know, and Giada Ferrone's The Nutcracker NYC.
